The Bavarian University Center for Latin America (BAYLAT) is a service facility of the Ministry of Science and Arts of the State of Bavaria, Germany. It promotes the networking of universities and research institutions in Bavaria and Latin America. It has the task of promoting Bavaria as a center for technology and innovation as well as science and education in Latin American countries, promoting scientific cooperation with the region.

NATIONAL CENTER IN HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS (CENS) is a non-profit corporation, formed by the universities of Chile, Católica, Concepción, Valparaíso and Talca, with the support of CORFO, to develop strategies and activities that allow achieving a system more connected health system, innovate through health information technologies, close the gaps in knowledge and application of health information systems, and create criteria to ensure the quality of said systems. CENS makes its tools available to the Digital Health ecosystem.

BENEFITS:

• Measures the level of maturity in Technological Innovation in Health. Thanks to this instrument, entrepreneurs will be able to demonstrate their level of evolution in front of companies, hospitals and clinics and confirm that they are ready to pilot in a real health context.

• Advises entrepreneurs in the process of obtaining the Quality Seal. Tool for the certification of "software quality", evaluation of the main characteristics of software quality, which determines if it complies with the best practices and standards established at a national and international level. With this seal, developers will be able to demonstrate that their applications meet a high level of technical quality. This advice does not include obtaining the Seal itself.

• Advise entrepreneurs in the process of obtaining the Telemedicine Seal. Enabling factor for functioning and operation with minimum quality standards: measure and recommend technical requirements of standards in health information systems associated with digital solutions with a focus on telemedicine and, on the other hand, measure clinical requirements that are determining factors in a solution of this type. Type. This advice does not include obtaining the Seal itself. 

• Carry out training based on a competency model and focused on a complement to ProChile's current programs in the area of ​​Health Information Technology. 

• Grants a 20% discount to entrepreneurs/companies in the courses taught by CENS, based on a competency model and focused on a complement to ProChile's current programs in the field of Information Technology in Health.

EMPRENDE TU MENTE, ETM is a non-profit corporation whose objective is to generate contact networks between entrepreneurs and different decision makers, like investors, managers or executives, networks of mentors, venture capital and different organizations and experts that allow the Chilean Entrepreneurial Ecosystem to grow. The Latin American Business Association (LAV) is the business network and information platform for the German business sector with interests in Latin America and the Caribbean, which promotes economic, political and social relations between Germany and the countries of the region. It promotes the transfer of knowledge and the formation of qualified opinion, as well as holding professional meetings to connect economic actors from both sides, strengthening contacts between the regions as a constituent component of the German Economic Initiative for Latin America.
