Over the years, the citizen’s participation is an issue that has become increasingly relevant in public management. In this context, in 2011 Law No. 20.500 on Associations and Citizen Participation in Public Management was approved. The mechanisms for citizen participation established by Law No. 20.500 are declared in the General Standards of Citizen Participation (NGPC) of each Public Service.
