Chile's participation in this important face-to-face fair, which will receive more than 10 million people in six months, will be with a pavilion that will function as a business center where Chilean businessmen and entrepreneurs will have a showcase to the world to show their innovative solutions on issues such as sustainability, innovation and food security. It is a 600 m2 physical space, inspired by the Antarctic bases of Chile and with a simple red volume that stands out in the desert landscape of Dubai.
And he added: “This meeting will be an event focused on business, taking into account the ravages of the pandemic worldwide. It will also be the perfect opportunity to increase the relationship with our commercial partners in the area and, at the same time, attract investment to our country ”.
Different elements that integrate alternative uses of copper have been used for the fitting out of the Chilean pavilion. The use lies in the inclusion of copper nanoparticles in different materials and furniture that are part of the set. The copper nanoparticles help to eliminate bacteria and viruses, transforming the surfaces of the pavilion into innocuous spaces for the visitor. This is how the paint, carpets and handrails of the pavilion, for example, consider this technology.
In the access plaza, in the main planter, there will be an artistic-urban work of high visual impact, PigafettaPinguinos. The work consists of 38 penguins made of recycled wood and corresponding to Patagonian penguins (or Magellanic - spheniscus magellanicus) made at twice the scale of a normal penguin to increase the visual impact. The penguins represent the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the crossing of the Strait of Magellan and also strengthen the concept of the Antarctic landscape that is to be created in the Chilean pavilion.
In addition, it has the collaboration of Chilean companies who, ad honorem, decided to contribute to the pavilion: Caími, Copper 3D, Cunov, Davanti, DellOrto, Industrial Nano, Neural Health, Pinturas Panoramica, PleIQ, South Trip Gallery, Vetro + and Via Deco Home. Some of the guilds participating in the setting up of the stand are Wines of Chile, the Food Export Council and ChileMúsica. Multiple government institutions will support the development of thematic activities that will take place during the months of the EXPO.
