Frequently Asked Questions 2023

 

  • Creative Industries and Services: The application process for 2023 starts  on October 4th, at 12:00 P. M.
  • Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock products: The application process for 2023 starts on October 12th, at 12:00 P. M.
  • Creative Industries and Services: The application process for2023 will close on October 25th, at 5:00 P.M.
  • Forestry,Agriculture and Livestock products: The application process for 2023 will close on November 3rd, at 5:00 P.M.

Creative Industries and Services:

  •  Business: Maximum 1 project, with up to 3 markets.
  •  Sectorial: Maximum 1 project, with up to 5 markets.

 

Agriculture, Forestry & Livestock:

  • Business: Maximum 1 project, with up to 3 markets.
  • Sectorial: Maximum 2 projects, with up to 5 markets.

On ProChile’s home page you will find: “Tools”. Within it you must go to "Build, Grow: Contests".  There you will find information about the contest and information in: Documents to apply (prochile.gob.cl)

By accessing you will be able to review the 2023 Contest Bases and the Conditions  for each of them, as well as other documents that may be useful for your application process.


Target Market: Where you want to enter  with your  product or service. There  are the potential consumers or customers you want to address. 

Execution Market: It’s the market  where the actions and activities of the project will be carried out.  In this market are the providers of the services.  There may be more than one execution market, since, in general , acquisitions are made in Chile, as it is the case of airplane tickets.

Examples:

a.- Face-to-face fair in Spain In the fair you Will also be able to contact potential customers from  Germany, which is the focus of the project.

Target Market: Germany (potential customers/consumers are in this market).

Execution Market: Spain is the market where  the execution of the project will be held  and there will be expenses such as international travel expenses, tickets, etc., and Chile  where the tickets will be purchased.

b.- Trade Mission to Italy, with the purpose of visiting potential customers in Rome.

Target Market: Italy.

Execution Market: Italy and Chile.

c.- Development of promotional material in German, for potential customers in Germany. The production  of the material will be carried out in Chile.

Target Market: Germany.

Execution Market: Chile.

 

That's right, since it is a requirement to have an identity card issued by the Civil Registry or a RUT granted by the SII.


Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock products:

  • Submit the project, which must be completed in all mandatory fields with legible information. Failure to comply will leave the project out of the Contest at any stage of it.
  • Upload the RUT on the platform in case of being a legal person, or C.I. in case of being a natural person with initiation of activities.
  • The amount to be financed by ProChile must exceeds $3,500,000.-
  • In the case of Business projects,  only 1 project should  be submitted to the Contest and, in the case of  Sectorial, a maximum of 2 projects should be  submitted.
  • For Business projects, the applicant must register exports under  the National Customs Service, during  2019 or 2020 or 2021 or 2022.
  • Annual incomes registered by  the SII should be  less than 600,000 UF.
  • Companies having  executed projects of any of the contests, in the last 4 consecutive years, will not be eligible.
  • Be attentive to any additional information that ProChile may request through the email entered by the applicant.

 

Creative Industries and Services:

Only for the export of services or goods where the author's design prevails, you may present an Export Invoice, DUS or DUSSI and, in If you do not have this, upload the Sworn Declaration of Exports, whose format can be found in "Documents to apply".
  • Annual incomes registered by the SII should be  less than 600,000 UF.
  • Companies that have executed projects of any of the contests in the last 4 consecutive years, will not be eligible.
  • Be attentive to any additional information that ProChile may request via the email entered by the applicant.

Sectoral projects are those   presented by trade associations, federations, confederations, etc., with   high    representativeness at a  national or regional level, for  a given sector. Business projects are presented by companies or a natural person with  commercial activities initiation.
