Convocatoria campaña de marketing digital alimentos y bebidas en Colombia
ProChile signed an agreement with Tradeling, the fast-growing eMarketplace focused on business-to-business (B2B) transactions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to enable Chilean brands and retailers to export to the MENA region by trading and displaying their products on the e-commerce platform.
The official signing of the agreement took place on September 28 in the United Arab Emirates, where Jorge O'Ryan, General Director of ProChile and Marius Ciavola, CEO of Tradeling participated.
“After months of work with Tradeling, we were able to finalize this great alliance that will allow Chilean exporters to market their products in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), an area in constant growth and that takes on special relevance in the context of the Expo 2020 Dubai ”, highlighted the General Director of ProChile, Jorge O'Ryan.
And he added: "As ProChile we are happy to continue adding opportunities for our beneficiaries, who through Tradeling will be able to access a platform that exhibits tens of thousands of products in 13 sections ranging from Food and Beverages, Office Supplies, Consumer Electronics , Health and Wellbeing, Building Materials, among others, and which has about 60,000 buyers and sellers from more than 50 countries ”.
The collaboration will facilitate the introduction of Chilean brands of ProChile clients to the MENA region market. Similarly, ProChile will provide Tradeling with links to Chilean trade associations and business groups and will include Tradeling in each Chilean delegation to the United Arab Emirates to explore business opportunities.
To date, it has worked with 7 Chilean companies, who are in the process of integrating to the platform, among which Granolín, Tamaya Juice, Mundo Miel, NUN SpA, Honey Group, Pat Pot and Atacama Aceitunas stand out.
“The collaboration with ProChile highlights the enormous potential that the MENA region offers for B2B e-commerce for global companies. We will support and train ProChile's e-commerce team on the Tradeling platform, which will benefit its Chilean clients and companies. In addition to engaging with companies in Chile, we will also provide logistics and compliance support along with other value-added services such as trade financing and product registration and certification to help Chilean companies do business in MENA without necessarily setting foot in the region", explained Tradeling CEO Marius Ciavola.
Among the benefits that they will be able to access, it is worth mentioning that the first three transactions will be free of any commission charge for ProChile beneficiaries who sell their products on Tradeling; In addition, they will have greater visibility with special offers and preferential rates with a 15% discount on promotional / advertising banners; dedicated support to help you expand your business in MENA, among others.
Additionally, Tradeling will create a landing page dedicated to this agreement on Tradeling.com so that ProChile members have access to the dynamic MENA market.
By connecting global suppliers with MENA-based demand, Tradeling leverages advanced technology to optimize the supply chain and create economic value while mitigating risks. Today, Tradeling has more than 60,000 registered buyers and sellers from more than 50 countries with gross trade value growth of more than 65% month over month.
The signing of this agreement is one more action contemplated in ProChile's strategic plan to promote international trade through e-commerce, thus diversifying the possibilities of reaching international markets.
