It is a neutral territorial entity, non-profit, facilitator, logistical support and economic agent of the audiovisual industry, which seeks to export audiovisual locations and services, in order to attract more productions, investment and growth for the country.
It is composed of a public-private work network, coordinated by ProChile and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
At the national level, the Film Commission promotes and disseminates the work of the audiovisual industry, offering intergovernmental coordination with all entities involved in audiovisual production processes, providing information on locations, entry of people and goods into the country, filming permits and installed capacities.
At the international level, it promotes and disseminates Chile as a place with privileged destinations for filming international productions, providing information to foreign productions that want to learn about the national audiovisual offer and develop their projects in the country.
