The newspaper Las Últimas Noticias highlighted ProChile's Ecommerce export program that helped, along with 9 other companies, Anilinas Montblanc to carry out its first export to the United States with a presence on Amazon, one of the most relevant marketplaces in the market.
At Amazon, the store is ready and in January, with packaging specially made for the US market: it will start selling aniline to renew blue jeans. "It is to invite to renew, first, the beloved jeans, with a container to dye three garments and then the idea is to add more colors to dye other garments," says Westendarp. Ten SMEs with export potential were selected by ProChile for this program , which prepares and accompanies them for six months to enter three different platforms according to their product. "Anilinas Montblanc was selected due to the maturity it has as a company and the attractiveness of its product, meeting special conditions that even contribute to sustainability . It means, then, a commitment to caring for the environment by giving new life to textiles not only in Chile but also in other countries," says Nicole Gómez, head of ecommerce at ProChile. "In recent times, dyeing garments has become more and more valued, due to the greater awareness of sustainability, of not throwing away textiles so quickly," says Felipe Westendarp Reutter, general manager of the company, enthusiastically. At a meeting of the Association of Industrialists of La Reina, Westendarp learned about ProChile's ecommerce export program, an entity that helped to reach one of the largest showcases in the US: Amazon. It will also be on two other platforms, Fire and Tundra.
