Chilean artist Christell Rodríguez, known for her song “Dubidubidú”—which went viral in 2024 through cat-themed memes on TikTok—will perform at the Chile Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 on September 27 and 28, as part of Chile’s cultural promotion strategy.
Her participation aims to reintroduce international audiences to the original performer of this digital phenomenon, while also positioning Chile as a creative and diverse country capable of producing cultural content with global reach.
Originally recorded when Christell was just five years old, the song topped viral charts in Japan and was featured in the video game Just Dance 2025.

Christell Jazmín Rodríguez Carrillo (born on January 2, 1998) is a Chilean singer who became known on the TVN program “Rojo, fama contra fama”, where, at just five years old, she imitated singer María José Quintanilla in a contest.
She released three albums that achieved record sales in Chile. Her second album, “La fiesta continua”, was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2004 in the Best Children's Album category, becoming one of the most voted artists according to the public.
