Prunes are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber, with high levels of antioxidants. It is a superfood that helps children’s growth and development as well as other specific functions such as the regulation of digestion and energy supply.
PRUNESCO does not have its own orchards. It is a company that works with over 110 producers, cultivating, trusting and contributing to the development of farmers who deliver nearly 15,000 tons of dehydrated plums/prunes per year to be processed.

Currenly highlighting an important practice regarding the caring of the environment. The Solcor project seeks to reduce-through the implementation of solar panels in its processing plant–the consumption of conventional energy for green energy by 30%.
They work in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility, implemented during the second semester of 2020 also stands out. A project that will replace liquified gas used in the steam boiler used for the tenderizing process with the plum’s own pits. This innovation led to the company being recognized in the Latin American Green Awards.
