Chilean products are internationally recognized for their quality, flavor and freshness. Additionally, for being produced by an innovative and professional industry that has managed to position Chile in international rankings and currently have about 20 products among the most exported to the world.
One of them is the nut, one of the main products that will be offered by a historic delegation made up of 27 Chilean exporting companies in the 24th edition of Gulfood, which will be held between February 17th and 21st in Dubai World Trade Centre.
Chile exports walnuts in shell, shelled, whole, split, in halves. The Chilean nut is recognized worldwide for its quality, color, flavor and yield. Chile is the second largest exporter of shelled nuts in the world and the third largest exporter of shelled nuts in the world.
In the period January – November 2018, exports of nuts to the world exceeded US$ 421 million, and in the same period, Chilean shipments of walnuts to Arab League countries reached US$ 50 million, the same amount as the total exported in all of 2017.

Enjoying the best growing conditions in the world, Chile nuts are produced under the strictest quality standards and are shipped all over the world conquering their consumers with their exquisite qualities. It is also a healthy product, highly nutritious and very good taste.
In addition to nuts, the Chilean delegation of 27 companies present at Chile’s stand at Gulfood 2019 will offer almonds, raisins, dehydrated plums, dehydrated fruits, plum juice, juice powder, peeled oats, instant oats, concentrated juices of grapes, berries and maqui; honey, olive oil and walnuts, among others. These products are characterized by their high quality and the contribution they make to the health of those who consume them, since they have high contents of antioxidant, fibers and nutrients, preferred by the most demanding consumers.
This year Chile will have a country pavilion of 174 mts². Last year, the delegation was made up of 20 companies and closed deals for about US$ 20 million. This year, the delegation will be headed by the new commercial director of Chile in Dubai, Carlos Salas, who, together with his team, seeks to surpass the sales of previous years
