Chile bets on healthy beauty, based on copper and its native ingredients.
Chile is more than a country rich in wines, fruits and landscapes that have crowned it three times in a row as "Best Destination of Travel Adventure in South America" in the World Travel Awards.
The nation, stretching to the southernmost tip of the world, is also a source of raw materials which contain nutrients, antioxidants and antibacterial elements. These unique ingredients have enabled for the creation of new cosmetic proposals in Chile, able to supply the growing demands of the global industry, especially for those seeking more environmentally conscious and healthy beauty innovations.
The ingredients and active principles of Chilean natural cosmetics come from the regional algae spread down more than 4,000 kilometers of coastline; from native plants and fruits such as maqui and murta berries, typical in the Patagonia area; from the grapes harvested in the central valley region; and from the copper that has positioned Chile on the world stage as the globe’s leading supplier of the mineral.
These are all unique ingredients which benefit and contribute to the circulation, purification and detoxification of the body, promote metabolic slimming processes and a lasting source of hydration. In addition, copper nanoparticles, together with their FDA certified antibacterial properties, assist in the growth of collagen and elastin in the skin, promoting facial toning.
These diverse cosmetic products and more are to be showcased in the Pavilion that Chile at the 16th annual Cosmoprof Las Vegas 2018, which will take place from July 29 to 31 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The event is expected to draw the attendance of more than 36 million cosmetics professionals and about 1,300 exhibitors from different countries.
The 2018 Chilean Delegation will include:

- Agrícola Petit Gris

This select group of business ambassadors will participate with the support of ProChile, a governmental institution in charge of promoting the country’s exports through its 56 offices around the world, five of them located in the United States.
This participation in the largest B2B beauty fair worldwide will mark a milestone in the commercial opening of Chile’s emerging natural cosmetics industry that has begun to consolidate thanks to new innovative brands from small companies which have adhered to the concept of Indie and Slow, respect for the environment and offering "cosmetic formulas with soul", a synergy between emotional, psychological and physical balance, to achieve harmony of the body and mind.
