The planning and subsequent visit to one or more markets, in person or virtually, to learn about their regulations, distribution channels, prices, competitors and to establish initial contacts for future business. In cases of prior knowledge of a specific market, a visit is made in order to market the products and/or services of the companies involved in the project.
