From March 21 to 25, and for the tenth consecutive year, Chile will be present at the 36th version of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in the city of San Francisco, United States. This important fair will be a meeting point for the different players in the video game business, from developers, hardware providers, service providers, to publishers and distributors, as well as promoting investments in some countries and making business contacts with potential clients that looking for products or services of this segment.
Thanks to the support of ProChile, this year 2022, the country exhibits a delegation of 19 companies with an exportable offer that includes the development of interactive software, video games, services for mobile and desktop devices, game consoles, among others.
6 companies from this delegation will attend in person: Tiny Bytes Spa; Invadelab (Interactive software development Fernado Andrés González Allendes E.I.R.L); Comercial Bekho Team Game Development y Cía Ltda; Aone games SpA; Kemono Games SpA; and Dreams of heaven Ltda.
Participation will be face-to-face through a 37 m2 ProChile stand, and a virtual platform will also be hired to hold both physical and virtual meetings called "MeetToMatch" to get the most out of Chilean participation, taking into account the transition stage between virtuality and presence.

The GDC hosts two award ceremonies that recognize the creativity, artistry, and technical genius of top developers and games:
The Game Developers Choice Awards is the premier peer-based video game awards show celebrating the best games and developers in the industry.
And, in that sense, one of the Chilean companies attending that stands out is ACE-Team, developer of independent video games for the main platforms (Playstation, Xbox and Steam). His game “The Eternal Cylinder” has been nominated at the Independent Games Festival (IGF), the most important independent video game festival in the world.
These are two nominations: one is for the “Seumas McNally Grand Prize” (which is for the best independent video game of the year and the most prestigious), and the other is in the category of “Excellence in Visual Arts”.
This nomination is a historic milestone for the national industry, since the only other time that a national video game achieved a nomination at the IGF was ACE-Team in 2009 with its game Zeno Clash, in the category of Excellence in Visual Arts.
On the other hand, the Chilean Margarita Pino (Foton Games), exponent of videogames and promoter of gender in the sector, will present in the panel "Women in games in Latam: where are we standing?"
