ProChile – the Chilean Export Promotion Bureau – in Stockholm is looking for a student for an internship for a period of 3 to 6 months.


Who we are

ProChile is a public institution aimed at promoting goods and services exports from our country. It spurs foreign investment and tourism. 55 offices are established worldwide and 15 in different regions within our country, offering useful information regarding the national export sphere.

We support the export of products and services through a wide range of tools such as high level information systems, participation in important international exhibits, round tables and programs designed for developing export business skills.

This way, ProChile is a strategic partner providing its experience in international business management to each stage of the export process.

About the internship

We offer an intern a dynamic and interesting workplace in a highly international environment, where the student will gain experience from international trade and business as well as being exposed to the daily practices of working in a Trade Commission that shares offices with the Embassy. The tasks are multifaceted and the intern will have great networking opportunities. The variety of tasks will include for example:

  • Event coordination
  • Participation in seminars or other business related events
  • Market research/analysis
  • Partner search and matchmaking
  • Maintenance social media
  • Other administrative tasks

Since we are offering a full-time internship (35 hours per week) we expect our candidate to meet the requirements of such working hours. Our office hours are 9:00-17:00 hrs Monday to Friday, but in case of events or seminars, outside mentioned working hours, the student is welcome to participate.

The internship is not subject to remuneration.


Requirements / Candidate Profile

  • Swedish citizenship is a requirement
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of Spanish, both orally and in writing
  • IT skills, including usage of Outlook, Word, Excel and ability to search for and use online data
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university, and be insured through the school or if already graduated, internship may also be possible through Arbetsförmedlingen. If the internship does not earn you credit, you must provide a note from the university stating that the internship would be relevant for your coursework. The last does not exempt the requirement of insurance.

Besides the above mentioned, we look for a responsible candidate willing to work independently, take initiative and show critical and analytical thinking. Teamwork is crucial and direct communication is highly valued. Since the tasks are multifaceted we believe that our candidate must be prestigeless and flexible.

Our candidate must have a strong interest for international trade with studies i.a. in the fields of economics, international business administration, law, international relations or political science.
